Projects:

  • Built multiple XenApp environments based in the Data Center that allowed for both Local and Remote access for customers. This environment would replace all servers on customer location allowing for a streamlined office environment that was both highly functional and expandable on demand.
  • Built new XenDesktop and XenApp environments for the integration for Fandotech and Industrial Defender, allowing a single user experience in office or remotely. The environment leverages Citrix Secure Gateway and allowed tunneled session access for technicians to access all tools and services regardless of location.
  • Replaced CAT6509 core network with a dual stack of Cisco 3750X switches as the backbone of the Data Center. This included building the configuration for all of the VLANs and testing before successfully moving all customers to the new switch.
  • Upgraded Sonicwall and Fortinet Firewall/UTM appliances for customers. This includes migrating existing policies and configuration to newer system. The process would also weed out any rules or ports that had been opened but were no longer needed, as well as making individual access groups for applications or servers
  • Lead a project to map both LAN and WAN networks. Documented all public IP space per customer, as well as verifying and IP address used by Fandotech and well as identifying what service they were currently configured for.
